Welcome to Gruene Lake Haus! Brand new modern A-Frame within close proximity to New Braunfels, Gruene Hall, Whitewater Amphitheater, and Canyon Lake. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway with all the modern conveniences to make your vacation memorable. Located on FM-306 less than 5 miles south of Whitewater Amphitheater.
Wake up, grab your coffee and stroll over to say howdy to Gruene Lake Ranch's very own cattle. You can either make breakfast in the spacious kitchen or treat yourself to some of the many delicious spots nearby. Within a ten minute drive/Uber you will be floating the Guadalupe or Comal rivers, playing at Schlitterbahn, shopping and enjoying live music in downtown Gruene, or rocking out at the Whitewater Amphitheater! Head over to the stocked community ponds to fish for some bass, catfish, or bluegill. Grill dinner on the patio with your private BBQ. Later you can play corn hole, watch the sunset from the porch swing with a drink in hand or roast marshmallows over your very own fire pit.
New home and furnishings! Comfortable yet modern with all the conveniences you could want during your vacation. Toiletries in all three bathrooms, bath towels, pool/river towels, makeup towels, floor fan, luggage racks, washer/dryer, detergent, iron, and coffee are all provided for your use.
You will have full and private access to the entire home and front patio. The greater community will include fishing lakes, pools, cattle viewing/feeding, live music, general store, and a chapel. Please note that they community amenities are still being built out and not complete at this time.
We are located in the serene hill country and conveniently situated between New Braunfels/Gruene and Canyon Lake. While on site you are removed from the hustle and bustle and can enjoy the sounds of the birds in the morning and star gazing at night. However, within a 5-10 minute drive you are in the middle Gruene, New Braunfels, and Canyon Lake.
Free parking is provided directly behind the home with easy and convenient access.
Please note that the community and neighboring homes are still under construction. During the weekday hours there will be workers in the community finishing up homes and the community amenities like the pool, mercantile, and outdoor music area. At this time, these are not yet available which is why nightly rates have been significantly reduced. Please reach out with any specific questions you may have. We will be available for any questions you have during your stay. We also have a manager located in New Braunfels should you require immediate assistance.
There are two exterior Ring cameras monitoring the front door and back area of home (guest parking) for the guest's safety.

The entrance is sometimes hard to find when going down FM-306. If driving from Interstate 35 keep an eye out for the large cell tower on the left hand side of the road. Our entrance is on the right hand side right after the 55 Speed Limit sign. Turn on your blinker when you see the cell tower and stay to the right. You will pull into the dirt road entrance and enter under the large "GR" gate.
Once you arrive continue straight and follow the signs that say "Upper Lake Cabins".
